Digital Medical Communications Corp. (DMC Corp.), a life sciences communications provider based in Tokyo, Japan, specializes in medical, pharmaceutical, and life sciences writing and editing for Japanese researchers and companies.
We are experiencing rapid growth and have an ongoing need for editors. We currently seek an entry level in-house editor for quality assurance (QA) following primary editing.
Responsibilities include:
- QA editing of papers edited by our primary editors
- Advising and providing feedback to authors on how their papers can be optimized
- Maintaining communication and collaboration with the author and primary editor until the paper is ready for submission
- Supporting authors through the submission and peer-review process until publication
Requirements include:
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a medical, pharmaceutical or life sciences field
- Mastery of written English, and fastidious attention to detail
Knowledge of Japanese is an asset but not essential. The successful candidate will be trained to meet our very high standards.
